Reply to JLL about nerve damage

“RE: by JLL - (Mon, Apr 23 2007)
61 year old has radioactive seeds implanted for prostate cancer The seeds seem to do the job, psa is very low, oncologist very happy. BUT, patient is left with persistant explosive bowel movements”

My sister suffered slight nerve damage during a surgery that caused her to have frequent “explosive” bowel movements. After years of suffering with this (and she was finally unable to continue working or lead a normal life), a new doctor suggested she take high blood pressure medicine (hers is in powder form taken w/ juice every morning). From the day she took this med, she ceased having the problem. And as long as she takes the med, she is fine. If she misses even one day though, the problem returns. She’s been using this for at least 12 years now and is doing great. Perhaps this is something the 61-year old gentleman could try? It could be worth a shot.
