Back in 2002 I have had problems with knees. The right knee started giving me problems first. In 2005, I had a knee scope done, then later on, started having injections to knee. In 2006 right knee started bothering me more; in 2006 I decided to apply for disability, got turned down; after 2 years I applied again, got turned down. My hearing is soon before a judge but I’m told by other lawyers I will not get disability because of my age and of my education. Just cause I can’t walk or stand very long doesn’t mean I can’t find a sitting job.

Believe me, I have tried to find a sitting job, but need the experience. Are they going to pay me to go to school so I can train in something different? I feel like not showing up at my hearing, knowing I’m going to be turned down anyway. Living with arthritis is not fun. I can’t keep on waiting for them to make up their minds to help me. I have bills to pay, animals to take care of. But, none of that matters to them. I know one thing though, I won’t let arthritis win. God will help me, he will take care of me.
