There is Hope - What Works for Me

by: Cari on Tue, Jul 17 2007

Hi everyone. I wanted to tell you I have had similar stories to many of these vertigo stories. I first got vertigo years ago. It came out of no where. Since then I have have had it now 3 other times. I found a great homeopathic doctor who sits and tries to figure out how it starts each time. Each time he seems to be right and prescribes a remedy and it really helps. He also has me to the movements with the head to help get the crystals back in the right area in the ear. I had all the test too. I am convinced it it these crystals that get on the wrong side of the eardrum and then also combined with allergies since it always seems to happen after eating for inflamatory foods. Be careful with all the tests. Sometimes I found they made me worse. A good mine is a regular md with homeopathic background . He is great at helping me.

Anxiety surely goes with it cause you are literally feeling out of control. I am 42 and stable healthy person but it is so alarming to get. I also then try to keep my diet clean of milk etc. to keep infamation down. Last two times I got it one I was swimming and then this time currently was exercising on the floor and turned my head in a direction-it felt like I should not have done it. Sure enough it started that night again.

Be strong. I feel for everyone. It is miserable.
